Aims and Objectives

  • To provide orientation to research students on various important areas relevant to their projects
  • To ensure hassle-free process and completion of students’ projects and theses in various departments at SZABIST
  • To ensure the creation of new knowledge and innovation, centre adheres strictly to the plagiarism policy of home campus where no students’ project is approved with more than 15% similarity index. www.turnitin.com is the source of verifying the degree of similarity of research work with the existing scientific literature in the area
  • Arrangement of timely presentations of students as per the research/business project or thesis
  • Arrangement of workshops and training sessions on academic writing and statistical tools for students. Primarily, the sessions would be open for research students, nevertheless would be open for all SZABIST students. The sessions on report writing and statistical softwares will be conducted in computer lab to have hands-on experience and learning
  • The referencing style adopted at home campus is APA (American Psychological Association) at management sciences. The objective is to adhere to the same formatting standard here also to ensure symmetry. Similarly IEEE formatting style is adopted at computer sciences department
  • The research office would be responsible to create the turnitin accounts for all the research enrolled students to ensure less than or equal to 15% similarity index in their work
