Dr. Muhammad Nawaz Brohi

Head of Campus:

Dr M N Brohi has completed his Ph.D. Research Courses from Northeast University of Technology, Shenyang, China and earned a PhD in Information Technology from Pakistan. He has completed his M.Sc. (Computer Sciences), Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan.

He has been associated with the teaching profession for the last thirty years. Besides regular class teaching at different universities, his experience is extended to research, paper publication and text-book writing as well. His books on Computer Science for 11th and 12th standards have been included in the Federal Board of Education in Pakistan.

In 1986-87, he was the one of the founder faculty members of Computer Science Department in the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan. He has been a member of several University Academic Boards in Pakistan. During 1997, he was the chairman of the provincial review committee appointed by the Bureau of Curriculum & Extension Wing, Jamshoro, Pakistan. In 1995, he was appointed by the Ministry of Education, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad as one of the members in the National Review Committee.

In the years 1997-98, He was given another responsibility as a member of curriculum revision committee for computer science to review and convert the B.Sc. (Computer Science) and M.Sc. (Computer Science) three years degree program into B.CS and M.CS programs under the authority of UGC/HEC, Islamabad, Pakistan.

In 2001 he joined the Preston University Ajman, UAE as Head of Information Technology, Department of IT. In April 2010 he was given the additional responsibility of being the Link Tutor, University of Bedfordshire UK campus at Ajman, UAE. He developed the course information and unit information for the B.Sc. (Hons) Information Technology for the University of Bedfordshire, UK program.

In December 2012 he joined SZABIST Dubai as a Head of Campus. Since the last 3 years he has been contributing toward the academic growth of the only off shore Pakistani university in Dubai.
